Compact Tunable White controller with DALI 209 compatibility

This new version of the PowerController V2 is Dali enabled for easy control of tunable white color LED modules. You have the option of integrating up to 2 DALI 209 devices into a DALI system from a small package of only 100 x 29 x 19 mm in size. The DALI TW devices can be LED modules or strips with 10-30VDC input voltage and up to 300W total power. You can connect LED modules with tunable white LEDs in one single row or parallelrows of single color temperature LED strips.

And this is how the installation works

Connection

Connect the two DALI inputs (DA2) on the PowerController to the DALI BUS cable. The 4 outputs (CH1-CH4) are each connected to the negative line of the respective modules. Connect the cold white connection of the first 209 device to CH1 and the warm white connection to CH2. Similarly, the second module is connected in the same way to CH3 and CH4. The positive leads are connected to OUT via terminals (part no. 33736). The operating voltage is provided by GND and VCC. 

How it works

After all components have been properly wired, power can be applied to the PowerController V2 DALI 209 TW and an addressing can then be performed on the DALI BUS. Depending on the software used, new DALI devices will appear which can now be individualized.

Simple installation due to minimal size

The slim format and the practical input or ouput terminals allows easy installation in control cabinets. A total of up to 10 A (300 W) can be switched via the outputs. The PowerController V2 DALI allows the control of constant voltage LED modules.

Control of multiple constant current LED modules is also possible

The Powercontroller V2 unit is compatible with the new extension constant current LED driver, article number 34722. With this driver you can control up to 4 groups of lightsources at a constant current of 1-1500mA and 4-42 V, such as our LinearZ LED modules.
